JUNIOR MARKETING ASSOCIATION UPM
A fairly young organization, JMAUPM was founded and established in 1999 by a group of individuals who recognized the increasing and overwhelming interest of students in the field of marketing. As there are no marketing courses in UP Manila, the organization became the melting pot of marketing-oriented individuals who want to put their inkling for strategic generation of funds to good use.

Junior Marketing Association University of the Philippines Manila ( JMAUPM) is the only local student marketing organization of the University of the Philippines Manila. JMAUPM is a non-stock, non- profit, non-sectarian, and non-political student-managed organization which aims to develop effective marketing and interpersonal skills among its members through various projects and activities.
The organization believes that marketing should be both substantial and sensible. To actively involve the members, projects geared towards the attainment of the organization’s objectives are developed and employed. JMAUPM envisions becoming a model organization where member participation is high and where skills like creativity, resourcefulness, and genuine talent in marketing and interpersonal communication are enriched and utilized.
The members of JMAUPM are committed to creating a cooperative and supportive network not only with other student organizations but also with civic, professional, government, or corporate organizations. The organization is particularly devoted in reaching out and providing service to the school and its community.

#MarkWeek ( JMA Week)
JMAUPM organizes and prepares various activities for its members every November. This is a week-long event which consists of seminars, talks, and culminating activities. The recent theme was #GoPro, where “Pro” stands for Progressive, Proactive, and Professional.
